Dear Host,

Thank you so much for being involved with Fount of Mercy and for being interested in opening your home to try our new fundraising idea, “Friend-raisers”! 

Friend-raiser: We are asking you to throw a dinner party at your home, with your guests, at your convenience to benefit Fount of Mercy?  The goal of a Friend-Raiser is not only to raise money in a non-threatening way, but to develop relationships with new people (your friends) who may want to be involved with Fount's work in Africa.

You provide the home, the meal, and the guests, and we will provide everything else you need.  You simply ask your guest to donate to Fount what they would have spent on a meal out.

Besides those basics, it is up to you how you go about the rest.  But, in order to make it as simple as possible, we have put together a packet to help as a guide. We will mail you everything we think you’ll need to make your Friend-raiser a success and help you raise money for Fount of Mercy.

We want the Friend-raiser to be a great experience for you.
